About Jim
Jim Burton, O.N.L., has been successfully selling real estate in St. John’s for 40 years. He is the Owner and Manager of REMAX Infinity Realty Inc. and founded the Jim Burton Sales Team in 1998.
Jim earned his Fellow of the Real Estate Institute (FRI) designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada in 1996 and his Market Value Appraiser—Residential (MVA) designation from the Canadian Real Estate Association in 1998.
In January 2020, Jim was named a recipient of the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador, the province’s highest honour, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Newfoundland and Labrador. Jim also proudly received the 2024 REMAX Canada Special Services Award, recognizing his dedication, leadership and significant contributions to the real estate industry and the REMAX brand.
In addition to his distinguished real estate career, Jim is an Airline Transport Pilot with approximately 16,000 hours of flight experience.
